1. ADMISSION POLICY & RULES

    New Admission Policy for the year -2019-20 has been declared by Director, Directorate of College Education, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Admissions in our College for the Session 2019-20, will be done as per the New Admission Policy 2019-20.

2. COURSES OFFERED & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

    Prabhu Dhan Degree College, Bhorugram, offers three year degree courses at the under graduate level in the Faculties of Science, Arts & Commerce. The subjects offered at Part I level will remain for all the three years. They cannot be changed in the second and third year of the Three Year Degree Courses.

3. FEE STRUCTURE

Academic Program

SCIENCE FACULTY

B.Sc. Part - I

Students passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination in science stream with at least 48% marks are eligible for admission on first come first served basis.

  • Compulsory papers:-
    (A) Hindi & English language.
    (B) Environmental studies.
    (C) Elementary computer science
  • Optional papers: Combination of Elective Subjects
    (A) Non-Medical: - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.
    (B) Medical: - Botany, Zoology, Chemistry.

B.Sc. Part - II

A student who has passed B.Sc. Part 1st (First year) examination or whose papers are due from M.G.S. University, Bikaner will be eligible for the admission in the same group or subjects as opted by him or her in B.Sc. Part-I.

B.Sc. Part - III

Prabhu Dhan Degree College's student who has passed B.Sc. Part-II (Second Year) examination or whose papers are due from M.G.S. University Bikaner will be eligible for the admission in the same group or subjects as per opted by him or her in B.Sc. Part-II.

ARTS FACULTY

B.A Part - I

Students passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 45% marks are eligible for admission on first come first served basis

  • Compulsory papers:-
    (A) Hindi & English language.
    (B) Environmental studies.
    (C) Elementary computer science
  • Optional Papers:- In all, a student may select three subjects from the available for options
    i.e., Political Science, History, Hindi literature, English literature, Geography and Mathematics.

B.A. Part - II

A student who has passed B.A. Part I (First year) examination or whose papers are due will be eligible for admission in the same group as opted by him or her in B.A. Part - I

B.A. Part - III

Prabhu Dhan Degree College's student who has passed B.A. Part-II (Second Year) examination or whose papers are due from M.G.S. University Bikaner will be eligible for the admission in the same group or subjects as per opted by him or her in B.A. Part-II.

COMMERCE FACULTY

B.Com. Part - I

Students passed 10 +2 or equivalent examination in commerce stream with at least 45% marks are eligible for admission on first come first served basis.

  • Compulsory papers:-
    (A) Hindi & English language.
    (B) Environmental studies.
    (C) Elementary computer science
  • Optional Papers:-
    (A) Accountancy and business statistics.
    (B) Economic administration and financial management or Computer application.
    (C) Business management or Travel and tour management.

Note: - Students from non-commerce stream will have to take an additional & compulsory subject from Book Keeping or Business Studies.

B.Com. Part - II

A student who has passed B. Com. Part I (First year) examination or whose papers are due will be eligible for admission in same group opted in B.Com Part I.
Seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC/ Physically handicapped candidates as per government rules.

B.Com. Part - III

Prabhu Dhan Degree College's student who has passed B.Com. Part-II (Second Year) examination or whose papers are due from M.G.S. University Bikaner will be eligible for the admission in the same group or subjects as per opted by him or her in B.Com. Part-II.

Note:- Seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC/ Physically handicapped candidates as per government rules.
Change of Subject in B.A./B.Com./B.Sc. Part-I, will be allowed only within 15 days after the start of the new session on depositing the prescribed fee.

3. ADMISSION PROCESS

LIST OF DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED WITH THE ADMISSION FORM

  • Self attested Photo copy of the Mark Sheet of the last qualifying examination.
  • Original character certificate issued by the Principal of the institution last attended (only for new students).
  • Original Transfer Certificate issued by the Principal of the institution last attended (only for new students).
  • Three copies of recent passport size photographs.
  • Address proof (Ration Card/ Aadhar Card).

ADMISSION AFTER A GAP

  • Those candidates having a gap in studies for more than two years after passing the qualifying examinations will not be given admission. This does not apply for female candidates.
  • An academic session will not be considered as a gap year during which the candidate was a regular student of any educational institution and appeared in any university examination.

ADMISSION OF THE FAILED CANDIDATE

A regular student of previous session, who fails / does not appear in the Exam / does not fill the university application form, shall not be allowed re-admission in the same class as a regular candidate. Readmission in class already passed will not be allowed for the improvement of marks.

ADMISSION OF THE CANDIDATE WHOSE PAPER IS DUE WITH THE SUPPLEMENTARY IN THE QUALIFYING EXAMINATION

  • The candidates appearing for supplementary examination or whose papers are due are eligible to take admission in the next class till the last date of admission. The admissions will not be granted afterwards even if they pass the supplementary examination.
  • The admission of the candidates who failed in the supplementary examination/ due papers after taking admission shall automatically be cancelled and fees will not be refunded.

REJECTION OF ADMISSION

The principal can reject the admission on the following grounds:

  • If the candidate has knowingly concealed any fact in the application form or has produced false information / document.
  • If the candidate has not deposited the application form till the last date of submission or has deposited incomplete form.
  • If the candidate has not deposited the fees till the time and the date decided for deposition of fees.
  • If the candidate has used unfair means like bribe or threat for seeking admission in the college.
  • If the admission is not according to the latest rules of M.G.S. University, Bikaner.
  • If the candidate has been found guilty of grave misconduct in the previous year or during university examination.
  • If the candidate has been held guilty for misbehaving with faculty member or has criminal record.
